Silky Dog Shampoo Bar

Minimum 120 grams of handmade shampoo bar

The NHS4animals range of natural solid shampoo bars are unique and handcrafted by our team at Horsehay Farm.  They are made in small batches, using high quality herbal infusions, macerated oils and therapeutic essential oils. They are easy to use (just add water!) and produce a fluffy lather, leaving the coat soft, shiny, clean and most of all healthy. They can also be used over and over again and last much longer than liquid shampoo.

Each recipe is formulated to suit the coat of your horse or pony – if you notice that we do not have a shampoo bar to suit your horse or pony, please let us know and we will endeavour to develop one to suit!

All of our natural shampoo bars contain no artificial colour, aroma, alcohol, animal products, preservatives, sodium laurel sulphate, parabens or in fact any synthetic additives. No need for plastic bottles! We package the shampoo bars in simple recycled brown paper which lessens the impact on the envrionment.

Suitable for a dull, scurfy coat. This naturally conditioning and uplifting shampoo bar will cleanse and nourish the coat leaving it soft, silky and healthy.

Contains: Infusions of Mullein and Liquorice with Rosehip, Wheatgerm and Vitamin E oils to nourish and hydrate the skin with warming essential oils of Ginger, Lemon, Vetiver and Juniper Berry to stimulate the circulation and provide comfort.

Mullein and Liquorice infusions – Combined, these make  a wonderful tonic for cleansing the blood.  They both also have relaxing properties which work well when both herbs are used in conjunction.

Lemon – As well as its zingy uplifting smell, lemon is excellent as a stimulant to the circulatory system.  It has mild antiseptic properties leaving your dog fresh and clean and ready to go.

Ginger – This oil works well in conjunction with Lemon for an uplifting effect on the animal.  It stimulates the circulation which soothes any muscles aches and enhances skin regeneration.

Cypress – This oil has fantastic fly repelling qualities as well as being good for regulating an oily coat.  It is insecticidal but also naturally removes and repels skin parasite.

Juniper Berry – This oil is a powerful detoxicant meaning it is a great all-round cleanser for your dog.  It has blood cleansing properties as well all which manifests itself in a shiny, healthy coat.
